There is a lot of excitement around digital marketplaces. Businesses are selling on 3rd party marketplaces or changing their business models to become marketplaces. We have classic and enterprise marketplaces. Some marketplaces sell products and those that offer services. Marketplaces sell to consumers or businesses, focusing on a niche or a broad set of industries. As always, with excitement, there is a bit of confusion in marketplace discussions. A picture is always better than a thousand words, and I always wanted to create an iconographic, here it is – Digital Marketplaces – Explained.
